  3. Tesla has acquired a giant 854,885 sq/m plot in Shanghai to build its first factory outside of the US. The operation is wholly owned by Tesla, and is being used by China to prove that it is opening up to foreign investment.  - Read more


  4. A US Navy research vessel docked in Taiwan Monday, sparking further concern in Beijing at a time of already heightened tension. China responded by “expressing our solemn concerns to the US side”.  - Read more

  5. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference and International Forum on Energy Transition, which opened Thursday in the eastern Chinese city of Suzhou.  - Read more
