  1. The third international Silk Road Tourism Summit took place in Thessaloniki, Greece. Greece’s economy has picked up in the last year or so, a large part driven by (Chinese) tourism. Previous meetings were held in Dunhuang (2013) and Xi’an (2015).    - Read more

  3. Shanghai courts have finished 2,464 cases involving The Belt and Road countries and regions in five years, according to Shanghai Higher People’s Court.   - Read more


  4. After seeing its current account deficit increase rapidly in recent years, Pakistan has been forced to revert back to the IMF bailout and is seeing between $6-12 billion. US however have said they would veto any bailout which helps Pakistan pay loans to China.   - Read more
